Student Portraits are Ready to View!

Magnolia School 2022-2023 School Portraits are now available for ordering on our site. Please read below to find out more, then click the button to go to the order site.

ONLINE CODE

To access your student's portrait gallery, please enter your online code as described below.

Use the first first FOUR LETTERS OF FIRST NAME, followed by the first FOUR LETTERS OF LAST NAME, and the code "F22." For example, Jessica Anderson would be "JessAndeF22" and so on.

ORDER DEADLINE

Orders are due by NOVEMBER 30th and will be delivered to the school with no delivery fees. Orders submitted after 11/30 will be subject to shipping fees; we cannot guarantee that orders made after 11/30 will arrive before Christmas Break.

LOG-IN ISSUES?

--Please use the student's name as registered at the school; no nicknames or middle names.

--Names shorter than four letters, please enter ALL letters.
--If student has two last names, please use the first last name in the passcode. For example, "Sarah Garcia-Jones" would have the passcode "SaraGarcF22."
--Please enter this password and your email to log in to the gallery.

NOTE: Should you have any trouble accessing our child's gallery, please contact us immediately.

RETAKES

Retake Day is TO BE DETERMINED by the school. If your student was absent or you are unhappy with your child's pictures, please find the retake button below and sign up so we may pull your student from class on Retake Day.

Meet Your New School Photographers

Hello Magnolia School Families! We are Lot Five Studios--a small, woman-owned and operated, local photography company based in Northwest Houston. We have more than 12 years of experience photographing children in our neighborhood schools.

Our approach is to connect with your student to get natural smiles and laughs, all while documenting their growth through school photos. We are determined to bring you beautiful photography in a fresh, modern style while helping your daughter gain self-confidence in front of our cameras. We're also sticklers for the details, making sure hair and outfits are as perfect as possible before we take that photo.

What To Expect

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

Images in School Uniform

Your Fall Portraits are 3/4 length images for students and staff outdoors! The look is clean and modern, and put the focus on your child and not the background.

All Magnolia School students in grades 1st through 8th will be photographed in school uniforms. Please make sure your student is well-groomed and camera ready!

Online Proofing

About 3 weeks after Picture Day, your child's Fall Portraits will be uploaded to our website in a password-protected gallery for viewing and ordering.

Proofing information will be sent through the school or via email, but our Newsletter Subscribers will get notified first!

Class Pictures

We are still working out the details, but it seems that Class photos may be photographed on a different day as individual portraits. These will be posted for sale in your student's gallery later in the school year. Please keep an eye out for more info; class picture date is To Be Determined.

Tips on Hair & Grooming

We do our best to clean the faces of little ones, and try to fix your child's hair before taking their picture, so please prompt your child on what to do with their hair when they're in front of our camera.

For long-haired girls, we suggest wearing hair down, as ponytails and braids do not photograph as well as loose hair. Hair bows and accessories should be small in size as to not distract from your student's face. And since we will be outside, we suggest a healthy amount of hairspray, just in case!

Make Ups and Retakes

At Lot Five Studios, your satisfaction is always our goal. If your child missed her individual picture day, or you'd like to get a retake for any reason, your student can come back on any day we are on campus; RETAKE DAY TO BE DETERMINED.

We'd love to use your photo! At Lot Five Studios, we always look for smiling students to use as models. If you are interested in allowing your school photo to serve as one of the faces for our school-specific marketing pieces, please make sure to read the info at the end of your online order before checkout. If you are under 18, please ask your parents. If you do not wish for your image to be used, please read the info and let us know. Don't worry; we never use any identifying information about students--just your awesome image
