Student Portrait Proofs Now Available to View!

Garden Oaks Montessori 2021-2022 School Portraits are now available for ordering on our site. Please read below to find out more, then click the button to go to the order site.

ONLINE CODE

To access your student's portrait gallery, please enter your online code as described below.

Use the first FOUR LETTERS OF LAST NAME, followed by the first FOUR LETTERS OF FIRST NAME, and the code "F21." For example, Jonathan Anderson would be "AndeJonaF21" and so on.

LOG-IN ISSUES?

--Names shorter than five letters, please enter ALL letters.
--Please use the student's name as registered at the school; no nicknames or middle names.
--If two last names, please use the first last name in the passcode. For example, "Sarah Garcia-Jones" would have the passcode "GarcSaraF21."
--Please enter this password and your email to log into the gallery.

NOTE: We have tried our best to ensure all online codes are unique, however, there are students with very similar names. Should you have any trouble accessing our child's gallery, please contact us immediately.

RETAKES

Retake Day is WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 1st. If your student was absent or you are unhappy with your child's pictures, please find the retake button below and sign up so we may pull your student on Retake Day. Please give us some notes on what we can do to give you a better portrait of your student.

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

For Your Safety

The Covid-19 pandemic has been a trying time for all of us. Please know that when we photograph your child, we adhere to safety standards which include socially-distanced photography between the subject and photographer, anti-bacterial wipes, and an abundance of hand sanitizer. Additionally, all Lot Five Studios employees are masked at all times when working with your student.

Our Covid-19 Policy

School Uniform Not Necessary

Fall Portraits are head shots for students and staff on a grey backdrop! The look is clean and modern, and puts the focus on your child and not the background.

All Garden Oaks students will be photographed in school appropriate attire--school uniforms are not required. Please make sure your student is well-groomed and camera ready, we'll take care of the rest!

Hair & Grooming

Back before Covid, we did our best to clean the faces of little ones, and ask the big ones how their hair is supposed to look. Now we do touch-free grooming which is basically helping your child groom themselves for their photos. Please prompt your child on what to do with their hair when they're in front of our camera.

For long-haired girls, we suggest wearing hair down, as ponytails and braids do not photograph as well as loose hair, and tend to get messy throughout the day. Please be aware that curls do not normally stay all day, especially when your child's picture time is at the end of the day. Hair bows and accessories should be small in size as to not distract from your student's face.

Proofing Online

About 3 weeks after Picture Day, your child's Fall Portraits will be uploaded to our website in a password-protected gallery for viewing and ordering.

Proofing information will be sent through the school, but our Newsletter Subscribers will get notified first!

No Class Pictures

Group/Class photos will NOT take place this year due to Covid-19 and District guidelines on masking and social distancing. Thanks for your understanding.

Make Ups and Retakes

At Lot Five Studios, your satisfaction is always our goal. If your child missed their picture day, or you'd like to get a retake for any reason, your students can come back any day we are on campus--September 21st through 23rd. We will also be back on December 1st for Retake Day.

Please make sure to let your child's teacher know that they need a make up or retake photo, and send us a retake request by clicking the above photo to tell us how we can do better.

Retake Sign-Up

Everything You Need to Know About Fall Portraits

1. We photograph your child on their Fall Portrait Day (see schedule).

2. If they were absent, please send them to the gym in a school appropriate clothing any day we are on campus (9/21-9/23) and we will photograph them. If you forgot to send them in a nice outfit on their scheduled Picture Day, please send them back the next day. Reminder: retakes for Fall Portraits are December 1st.

3. Give us about 3-5 weeks to process the images and get them ready for viewing.

4. When the images are uploaded and ready to go, we will send information to the school, telling parents how to access their child's gallery with ordering instructions. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you get to know before everyone else does (perks, yay!).

5. Place an order by the deadline date to have your order delivered to the school for free. On-time orders will be distributed through the teachers.

6. If you missed the deadline, don't worry--your images will still be available for purchase, however you will have to pay a shipping fee and your order will be sent directly to you.

New to Lot Five Studios? We do things a little differently than other school picture companies. We believe in online proofing and ordering. OMG, yay! No more squashed order forms or losing your payment in the black hole of your child's backpack! No more wondering how their photos came out.

Get online and SEE your portraits; pick your favorites!
Don't miss another picture order! Pay via credit card to ensure that we got your order and get receipts via email instead of misplacing the order form.
No more pressure from family! Email the Grandparents their link so they can get their own copies!
All orders submitted by the deadline get delivered back to the school at no additional cost to you. Win-win.

A Few Final Notes:

RETAKES will be offered for Fall Portraits only from September 21-23 or on Tuesday, December 1st. If your child has already been photographed, the new image will be uploaded in to the same gallery as their original photos within 3 weeks of the retake date. Your retake order may may incur additional shipping fees.

Ordering Online. It's our thing. There will be cut-off date for orders to be delivered free to the school, so please keep your eyes peeled for deadlines. After the deadline, you can still order, but you will have to pay a shipping fee, and we don't offer as many cool packages or products as the ones we deliver to the school. Please expect up to 6 weeks after deadline for order delivery.

Your Kid is a Star. We'd Love to use Your Child's Photo! At Lot Five Studios, we are always looking for smiling students to use as our models. If you are interested in allowing your child's school photo to serve as one of the faces for our school-specific marketing pieces, please make sure to read the info at the end of your online order before checkout. If you do not wish for your child's image to be used, please read the info and let us know. Don't worry, we never use any identifying information about your children--just their awesome image.

Family Portraits, Headshots and Other Good Stuff. If you are in need of family portraits, corporate headshots, sports portraits, or Senior photos, please subscribe to our newsletter below or request a session! We offer quick and modern photography sessions during our "Open Studio Days" in our nearby studio, located in the Arts District off Sawyer and I-10.
